1) Setting a New Standard for Korea-Vietnam Technical Translation

Nguyen Thi Van Anh, originally from Hanoi, Vietnam and known in Korea by the nickname “Van Anh,” is a professionally trained Korean-language specialist who graduated from the Department of Korean Interpretation and Translation at the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She also completed training at the Seoul National University Language Education Institute and earned a master’s degree in Sociology from the Graduate School of Ewha Womans University.

She holds TOPIK Level 6, the highest level of the Test of Proficiency in Korean, and began her professional career as a full-time interpreter and translator at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam from 2010 to 2013.

Since then, she has participated in a wide range of government, public-sector, financial, and industrial projects involving organizations such as KOICA, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Statistics Korea, K-WATER, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the Supreme Court of Korea.

Since September 2025, she has also been serving as a professor in the Department of Korean-Vietnamese Interpretation and Translation at the Seoul University of Foreign Studies, combining academic education with extensive practical field experience as a hybrid professional.
